The 9th International Railway Summit, proudly supported by the International Union of Railways (UIC) will be held from 19-21 February 2020 in Warsaw, Poland. The summit is an exclusive networking platform for operators, governments, infrastructure owners, national and local authorities, and technical experts. It combines business meetings, a full conference programme, and formal and informal functions. As a partner of the 9 th International Railway Summit, ACRI members can receive preferential rates for attending the event.
The backbone of this unique event is a bespoke pre-arranged one-to-one meeting programme. The meeting programme matches buyers, sourcing solutions for their project requirements, with a wide variety of expert solution providers.
Participating companies then take part in 30-minute meetings with the companies they have chosen to meet, with exactly the decision-makers who can help them build strong partnerships.
Major buyer companies taking part in meetings include Swiss Federal Railways, Trenitalia, Deutsche Bahn, Warsaw Metro, Malayan Railways, LEO Express, and Banedanmark.
The summit conference programme will focus on how digital transformation can break down the barriers that can stop the rail sector from flourishing. Thought leaders will debate burning issues such as ensuring connected governance for seamless mobility, whether it is best for urban transport providers to compete or collaborate, how to facilitate smooth Eurasian freight trade, cross-border standardisation, green funding, and whether we can keep communications safe in a high-speed, high-data age.
Throughout the three days of the summit, delegates, who will stay in the venue hotel, will have the opportunity to forge friendships as well as new partnerships, learning about and from each other over coffee, lunches, dinners, and technical visits.
ACRI members are eligible for a preferential rate of up to 26% off at the 9 th International Railway Summit; please follow this link for more details.
