In 2023, RegioJet won a tender to operate the Brno–Prague line and chose trains from Polish manufacturer Pesa for the service. Borcad seats will be installed in all classes on board the new trains.
The order is for 11 four-car and 7 three-car trains in a three-class configuration typical for RegioJet: Business, Standard, and Low-cost. In line with customer requirements, we will supply seats from our FLEXIO family. The first class will feature specially modified seats with double back rest sliding, a Qi charger, a softer seat cushion, and an extended armrest cover. Classic FLEXIO seats will be installed in Standard class.
All will have leather upholstery, as in Business class, new upholstered armrest covers, and some will have a monitor on the headrest cover. In Low-cost class, a new member of the FLEXIO family, whose prototype we presented at last year’s InnoTrans, will make its debut. This seat will feature a new shape for the classic backrest table, a completely new headrest shape with an integrated small table with a Qi charger, and a new handle. Deliveries will begin in November this year.
