STRKAN s.r.o., a “traditional” manufacturer and supplier of special equipment and structures for manufacturers of transport equipment, delivered another set of scissor platforms. In this case, it is a delivery for Škoda Pars from Šumperk. The length of the platforms exceeds 30 meters, the walking width is 800 mm with the possibility of expanding to 1150 mm thanks to electric extensions.
The platforms can be controlled as a whole or individually, from a central controller or using a remote control. “This set of platforms is specific in particular to the upper limit of the lift, which is up to 4500 mm. We usually deal with platforms with a lift of no more than 3.5 meters. Therefore, it was necessary to design an innovative design of the scissor lifting mechanism,” adds Ing. Jan Prokeš, project manager at STRKAN s.r.o.
