May 2025 will leave a golden mark on the history of MSV Metal Studénka. The company officially launched its greatest investment in the recent years, a fully robotised forging line with a 4000-ton press. Thanks to the investment of approx. 280 million CZK, the company’s annual production capacity will increase from 14 to over 18 kilotons.
„This significant investment will enable us to enhance the efficiency of the forging process, thus strengthening our competitiveness. The new line brings about substantial energy savings due to the automated product cooling process, which in many cases eliminates the need for the follow-up heat treatment and reheating of the forged material,“ said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of MSV Metal Studénka, Pavel Krajča. The forging line is designed for production of forgings from structural, carbon and alloy steel, weighing from 10 up to 22 kg. Thanks to this, the company has switched to a fully automated operation of the forging process, thus reducing physical workload of blacksmiths.
