In May and June 2025, anti-derailment safety tests and sway tests according to EN 14363 were carried out at the VÚKV a.s. testing facility at Cerhenice on an eight-car Alstom Twindexx double-deck EMU belonging to Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). The tests were commissioned by the Swiss branch of the Alstom Group. A new-generation universal mobile test bench of VÚKV a.s. was used for the tests.

Following tests on the TGV units and the new Paris metro, this is another prestigious contract for an important customer, in which this test rig was used to the complete satisfaction of the client, for whom the shortest possible time for both tests was crucial. For two months, two cars of the unit were tested simultaneously on two test rigs. During the tests, the customer was provided with fully equipped office space in the new testing hall – three to four customer representatives were constantly present during the tests. The tests were also supervised by representatives of Swiss Federal Railways, who were naturally fully satisfied with the course of the tests.
