Passengera is delivering a comprehensive connectivity upgrade for Georgian Railways’ Stadler KISS trains. The outdated Wi-Fi system is being replaced with a robust solution that reuses viable onboard components to control costs while using mobile operators’ 5G networks through modems with intelligent load balancing and advanced traffic management.

Passengers benefit from faster and more reliable service through Wi-Fi 6 access points designed to handle high demand on the busy Tbilisi–Batumi route that links key regions of Georgia. The project also includes the deployment of Passengera MMS, a unified platform for centralized management, monitoring, and diagnostics of all network elements, fully vendor independent. The solution is designed as an open and future-ready platform, enabling easy expansion with onboard infotainment and additional digital services.
