ZKL Group is expanding its product portfolio of bearing units for demanding railway applications. The company is now introducing a compact TBU unit designated CTBU 110×180, representing the smallest size variant within this product range.
The unit is based on the proven design of ZKL bearing units for axle applications while also incorporating the latest findings in the optimization of functional surfaces of bearing contact areas. During the development process, these modifications were verified both through simulation tools and experimental testing, confirming their benefits in terms of performance and service life.
The new CTBU 110×180 unit is now available for project implementation and technical consultations. Its Czech premiere will take place at the Rail Business Days trade fair in Ostrava (booth 1A10), followed by its international presentation at InnoTrans in Berlin (Hall 23, booth no. 920).
