Railway transport is undergoing a fundamental digital transformation, further accelerated by Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/1693, which mandates the full digitisation of operational documentation from 2026 onwards. In response, OLTIS Group, in cooperation with ČD – Telematika, has developed the DIPOS system, delivering comprehensive digital integration directly into the train driver’s cab.
The solution automatically links dispatching systems with the driver’s onboard terminal, providing real-time access to up-to-date timetables, operational restrictions, regulations and other essential documents, without the need for manual searching. A key advantage is enhanced operational safety, supported by the concept of verifiable acknowledgement of documentation and the elimination of paper-based processes.
For rail operators, DIPOS offers not only compliance with upcoming legislative requirements, but also an effective tool for improved operations management, reporting and the long-term development of digital railways.
