This year, Wikov MGI is focusing on supplying gearboxes and drives for electric commuter trains and metro units, but its key product remains tram gearboxes for fully low-floor trams, which will be delivered to the Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey, Italy, Poland, Serbia, and Germany.
These gearboxes fully meet the demanding requirements for comfort and efficiency in urban transport. The Gear Division of the Wikov Group is strengthening its position in the field of repairs—not only for gearboxes but also for entire wheel sets—thanks to investments in pressing equipment, a lathe for re-grinding diameters, and axle coating technology.
These technologies enable comprehensive service and rapid delivery of fully repaired wheel sets. Wikov will participate in key trade shows such as RBD Ostrava and Innotrans, where it will present new products and its new visual identity.
