Another user of the toe jacks developed and manufactured by STRKAN s.r.o. je Správa železnic, state organization ensuring the operation of a railway line and its operability. Two sets of jacks were installed in the new premises of the mechanization center in Beroun, each with a total lifting capacity of 40 tons (the jacks are 10 tons each).
The set of jacks located in the hall along the assembly pit is particularly unique. For reasons of safety, comfort and ease of operation, these jacks are installed on their own running track.
In addition to toe jacks, a pit jack from STRKAN s.r.o. will also be used in Beroun. This jack with a lifting capacity of 20 tons is equipped with a telescopic piston, which ensures minimal dimensions when retracted. When not in use, it can be easily stored in the unused space under the stairs of the assembly pit. However, its battery power supply is absolutely unique. The lift can therefore be used along the entire length of the pit without being limited by the electricity supply.
