Activity: Research and innovation in the field of nuclear energy, reactor physics, and materials testing.
Founded in 2002 as a subsidiary of ÚJV Řež, Centrum výzkumu Řež s.r.o. is a leading research institution. We primarily focus on nuclear energy, reactor physics and technology, chemistry, and materials research. We operate a unique experimental infrastructure that includes the LVR-15 and LR-0 nuclear research reactors, technological loops, hot cells, and the HELCZA testing facility for fusion reactors. We provide comprehensive services to our domestic and foreign partners, including nuclear safety assessments, testing of materials for extreme conditions, and the development of advanced energy technologies such as small modular reactors.
