Quality thermal and acoustic insulation for trains and trams made of polyester fibers. This is produced by the technology company RETEX, which has been operating in this area for a long time. This year, it launches thin nonwovens for rolling stock “fireblockers”.
There are two product lines on offer: MEPAR and UNTEX VS FR. Both types of products are designed to be absolutely functional, yet environmentally friendly. MEPAR is made from recycled and durable aramid fibers. UNTEX VS FR is then made of biodegradable fibers, which are enriched with ecological flame retardants. Both materials can be used as protective layer for sandwich constructions. They find their main application in the production of rail vehicle seats, or in installation wiring.
