At the beginning of 2020, AMiT delivered a passenger information system and TCN for Minsk metro cars in Belarus. These new metro trains were manufactured by Stadler AG. The delivery of the Passenger Information System included TFT displays, LED panels, RGB LED panels, HMI panel computers, as well as intercoms, IP audio amplifiers, speakers and audio Exchange units. For TCN communication, AMiT supplied HMI panel computers. Due to the specific features of metro, the software of the ACASYS IS information system was completely reworked.
Another order for the supply of electronics for metro cars was won by AMiT for the Polish capital of Warsaw, where it will supply electronics for 45 metro trains. The contract includes complete information system for passengers, audio and camera system. The metro trains will be manufactured by Škoda Transportation, a.s., which succeeded in a tender among Siemens-NEWAG, Stadler, Alstom and CAF.
Another important supply of electronics for the metro will be carried out by AMiT Transportation Group in Helsinki, Finland. AMiT will supply an audio system for the reconstruction of Helsinki metro cars.
