The ZKL Group has successfully completed a multi-year project to develop and certify axle roller bearings for Ukrainian Railways and railway vehicle manufacturers. With this achievement, ZKL has become a significant strategic partner in supplying critically important bearings to ensure the transportation of essential materials and goods.
In August of this year, we completed the approval process and are now preparing the first deliveries of bearings,” stated Jiří Prášil Jr., CEO of the ZKL Group. He added: “ZKL is currently the only European bearing manufacturer to have achieved this approval.”
ZKL bearings offer crucial benefits to Ukrainian customers. “Our bearings comply with both Ukrainian and European legislative and technical standards,” emphasized Libor Nohál, the group’s Technical Director. Thanks to their full compatibility, the bearings can be seamlessly integrated into existing operations, further supporting steps toward the European integration of Ukrainian partners.
Our work does not end with this success. We are ready to further develop our collaboration and would welcome support from the government and commercial insurers to increase coverage limits for Ukrainian customers and to strengthen the connection between our markets and technologies.
