IGW is supplier of gearboxes for trams in cities in Romania

IGW has become a gearboxes supplier to the Turkish company Bozankaya, which has been very active in recent years in seeking contracts in Romania. During this year Bozankaya managed to obtain contracts for the supply of 21 trams for city of Timisoara with an option for another 19 cars and for 16 cars for city of Iasi.

These trams will use the gearboxes of two different designs, which have been completely developed and will be produced by the company IGW, whose plant is located in Brno. This project expands an extensive list of references of the company IGW, which has already more than 300 developed projects.
